[Construction Example] 3D Geogrid "GeoWeb Method"

Reinforcement of the back slope of river levee confluence! Introducing GeoWeb construction examples.

We would like to introduce a case where our product, "Geoweb Method," was proposed as a back slope protection work for reinforced embankments. In this project, emergency measures against river flooding damage were implemented, including the reinforcement of river embankments, riverbed excavation, and the removal of trees within the river channel. A simple frame product was desired for the back slope protection of the reinforced embankment. There have been numerous successful applications for back slope protection of river embankments, and our product was adopted. The "Geocell" product, made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) sheets that are continuously bonded into a three-dimensional honeycomb structure using high-frequency welding, becomes a strong structure by filling the cell structure with infill material. [Case Overview] ■ Issues - A simple frame product is desirable for back slope protection of reinforced embankments. ■ Advantages - Lightweight and flexible, making installation easy. - Fixed on the slope and filled with crushed stone to create a slope protection structure that considers the landscape. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Honeycomb-type formwork "Teracell"

This is a soil stabilization frame made of high-density polyethylene in a honeycomb shape. The main body can be expanded and filled with soil or crushed stone, making it usable for slopes, roadbeds, and retaining walls.

"TerraCell" is a honeycomb-shaped soil stabilization frame made of high-density polyethylene resin (HDPE). By simply expanding the body and filling the frame (cell) with soil or crushed stone, it can be utilized for slope protection, subgrade stabilization, and as a gravity retaining wall, making it an economically excellent multifunctional and high-performance civil engineering material. It can also be used in rivers and lakes, combined with stone materials or concrete to create revetment structures, and its erosion prevention effect on the cover soil (vegetation soil) stabilizes the greening foundation and creates vegetated revetments. By fixing TerraCell on the slope and filling the honeycomb-shaped cells with filling materials, it prevents erosion of the slope and enables slope protection and early greening. 【Features】 ■ Excellent restraint capability ■ Lightweight and compact ■ Wide variety to meet design requirements of construction sites ■ Compatible with a wide range of filling materials ■ Weather-resistant and chemical-resistant ■ Excellent cost-effectiveness (easy installation, easy processing) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

TG-type wooden plate frame MACS-II

Creating a gentle habitat for rich nature and living beings by the waterside.

Due to the growing awareness of waterfront environments, riverbank construction methods that use natural materials such as wood and stone have been re-evaluated with consideration for natural ecosystems. To this end, Toho Giken Co., Ltd. has developed various products, including the wooden sunken bed "Biocross," the wooden formwork "Bels," the wooden composite block "Bioplus," and the multifunctional fish nest "Max," which have been successfully implemented in rivers across the country. We have now developed and proposed a new TG-style single-sided formwork construction method called "MACS-II" (Max II), which is effective for ensuring the safety of riverbank flood control functions and creating ecological environments.
